Tarsha is an emerging transdisciplinary artist working across acting, writing for performance, socially engaged
art, and installation. She explores interpersonal relationships-across place, ancestry(time),and species.Tarsha
’s augural performance artwork,Together We Are Apart was at the 2019 Adelaide Fringe. .Peggy Buxton (2019)
soon followed during the History Festival. Have You Seen What I See? (2020-2),an interdisciplinary theatre
work, was created in partnership with Dance Hub SA and Arts SA.Unseen/seen (2021) was shortlisted for a
SALA prize. Tarsha’s debut cabaret, Unapologetic (2022), was first performed at the Cabaret Fringe.
Embracing Unravelling (2023), ACSA graduate exhibition, led to socially engaged artwork: Hag-ia(2024-) won
best Visual Arts and Design award at the Adelaide Fringe 2025. Hag-ia Cailleach at the Heysen Sculptural
Biennial 2025, and Hag-ia Femina SALA 2025 branched off this work. Tarsha was runner up in The Dawn
Slade-Faull Award, 2025 for her sound, installation and video art. Her solo show, meet me where I am at
(2026), at the Collective Haunt were the result of works made in a hospital bed following a serious injury in late
2025. A recipient of the Next Level Creative Mentorship, Tarsha is currently working on Divine Hag with State
Theatre Company.
