Jianna Georgiou is an emerging independent artist living in Adelaide. She joined the Restless Youth Ensemble in 2007 and has since performed in Rebel Rebel, Debut, The Heart of Another is a Dark Forest, Bedroom Dancing, Next of Kin, Take Me There, Beauty, Howling Like A Wolf, Salt, In The Balance and Intimate Space.
She collaborated with Sophie Hyde (Closer Productions) and Kat Worth on the multi award winning film, Sixteen for Necessary Games.
Jianna has directed a number of works. with her work Spirited Gardens touring to the Australian Youth Dance Festival in Renmark in April 2014.
Jianna does visual arts at Tutti Arts, worked with Access2Arts on ArmatureLIVE, currently doing Beats and has extensive experience as a workshop tutor.
Jianna was short-listed for a Young Achievers Award in 2010 and a recipient of the 2013 JUMP Mentoring Program through the Australia Council for the Arts.
