Beats Workshops

Access2Arts is excited to announce their popular Beats Workshops will resume in 2019. Workshops will run weekly from 3 August at the Fullarton Park Community Centre*.

Beats Workshops start on 3 August 2019.

Lead by its learning disabled participants, the workshops offer the chance to get creative and connect with the world through digital technology and contemporary popular culture.

Workshops will focus on developing participant’s DJing and MCing skills. Additionally, some workshops will be run by guest artists and explore hip-hop & break dance,  Trailer / Video Art, graffiti art, animation, filmmaking and adventures in virtual reality.

Where: Fullarton Park Community Centre, 411 Fullarton Road, Fullarton
When: Weekly from Saturday 3 August 2019
Time: 12:30pm to 2:30pm

*Please Note: the Beats Workshop on 10 August 2019 will be held at the Calrence Park Community Centre, 72-74 East Ave, Black Forest

Workshops are accessible and suitable for ages 15+. Creative enablers will be present at each workshop to support mild to moderate access requirements.
