About the role

The Access Coordinator is a vital member of the Access2Arts (A2A) team, responsible for coordinating and delivering our Access Consulting, Artist Support, and Audio Description services.

This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing accessibility in the arts, supporting disabled artists, and arts organisations across a range of access services and initiatives.

The objectives of this position will be achieved by:

  • Providing expert access consulting, training, and related services to a diverse range of clients.
  • Engaging with customers to deliver timely, well-considered advice and tailored solutions.
  • Leading presentations and workshops that are informative, engaging, and accessible.
  • Ensuring the effective administration of these programs.

The ability to provide accurate access advice and create accessible communications is critical to success in this role, as is the capacity to foster strong relationships and deliver exceptional, tailored support to artists, arts organisations and other customers.

This role requires a combination of great organisational and communication skills, alongside attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively and deliver high quality work.

Access2Arts is the South Australian peak body for disability arts, and exists to foster an inclusive arts community that develops, embraces and celebrates the unique talents, skills and perspectives of people who are d/Deaf or disabled.

Access2Arts is a disability-first employer, so lived experience is highly-regarded and workplace modifications can be made available.
