Everyone is always welcome at the South Australian Museum, but we know that sometimes it's a lot to take in – particularly for neurodiverse visitors and those with sensory sensitivities.
To make sure everyone can enjoy our Museum, we hold regular sensory friendly mornings and evenings so that visitors of all ages, along with their families, friends, and support workers, can enjoy a quieter, less crowded visit to the Museum outside regular hours.
With pay-what-you-can admission, we'll be toning down our screens, lights and sounds around the Museum, and our sensory backpacks will also be available to borrow free of charge. Remember to book a ticket for all attendees when you register, as numbers are limited to ensure a quiet environment.
Attendees are welcome to extend their visit beyond the end of this event, however please note that ticket holders will start arriving for the first sessions of Superluminal at 9.45am, so noise and crowds may increase from this time. Entry to Superluminal is not included with this event.
The Museum Shop and Museum Cafe are not open during this event, both will open from 10.00am.

This is a pay-what-you-can events.
