Children’s nursery rhymes have been passed along from generation to generation, some as far back as the 1600s! They’re fun, educational and thanks to their buoyant melodies become an enduring singalong for everyone. Cheerful adaptations make a wonderful way of introducing children to music. That's the charm of nursery rhymes.
Join soprano Janet Hattam and pianist Nerissa Pearce for a nonsensical, storytelling, classical music jaunt with the whimsical help of J. Michael Diack, Debussy, Kabalevsky and Peter Warlock With special guest artist pianist Stephen van der Hoek to delight with Mozart's Twelve Variations on "Ah vous dirai-je, Maman"
