A sensory-friendly morning for visitors of all ages, their families, friends and support workers.
Visitors with sensory or accessibility needs such as autism can enjoy a quieter, less crowded visit to the Museum out of hours. This is a chance to see all of the permanent galleries, and maybe discover something you’ve never noticed before.
Some of the screens, lights and sounds around the Museum will be altered for the morning to make it a more sensory friendly experience. Sensory backpacks will also be available to borrow free of charge.
