Event description

You are invited to step into the past and explore 30 years of No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability at their 30 Year Retrospective Exhibition, which kicks off at the Flour Shed at Hart’s Mill, Port Adelaide and is being held as part of the 2024 SALA Festival.

Join No Strings Attached, and journey through a curated collection of highlights from our rich 30 year history. This is a great opportunity to celebrate three decades of artistic achievement, honour the past, and explore our building blocks to becoming FEARLESS. LIMITLESS. BOUNDLESS!

The exhibition for the retrospective will be open with gold coin donation entry from 10am until 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays from July 27 until the August 18. Pop up events to enjoy and experience will be held across these weekends at 3pm, including performances, documentary and film screenings, and more. These are $5 ticketed events, and tickets can be purchased at the door with card or cash, or ahead of time via this URL: https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1225051

The official opening of their 30th Year Retrospective Exhibition, held on Saturday 3rd August 2024 from 5PM, will be held as part of the brand new winter festival MELTfest in the Port Adelaide historic precinct. On this day, the exhibition will re-open the exhibition that night from 5pm until 8pm only, and a free event with special guest speakers Dr PJ Rose (previously an Artistic Director of No Strings) and Ms Leonie Ebert-Smith (Founder of the Graham F Smith Peach Foundation) will be held. There will also be a Panel of No Strings artists, with guest speakers, talking about the building blocks to No Strings becoming FEARLESS. LIMITLESS. BOUNDLESS.

The events schedule of the entire 30 Years Retrospective celebration is:
