Event description

Join Enabled Youth Disability Network (EYDN) as we connect and share information about mental health and wellbeing.

This free event is for young people living with disability aged 18-35yr old.
You do not need to be an NDIS participant.
Support workers are welcome to join to support a client to participate.

5:00pm-5:45pm -
- Peer network Connector will read out the Agenda
-Then we will hear from Ebony from Dateability about all the programs they have for building friendships, relationships and wellbeing.

5:45pm-6:00pm -We will have a break

6:00-7:00pm
- The wonderful Felecia Hick will take us through an accessible movement class.

Felecia Hick

Felecia leads our Junction workshop on Monday nights, she also leads in our Education Outreach workshops. Felecia teaches our Emerging Artists and our Company dancers. We love Felecia’s passion for dance, her warmth and welcoming nature. Felecia is a skilled workshop facilitator but she brings so much more to her classes. You will feel connected, energised and welcome in her presence.

Food and drinks will be provided.
Accessible communication options can be provided. Please let us know of any access requirements in the registration.

Please wear clothes that are easy to move in and that you feel comfortable wearing.

Restless Dance Theatre brings artists with diverse minds, bodies and imaginations together to create contemporary dance theatre from everyday lived experiences; manifested into beautiful art, embedding inclusion into our screens, on our stages and in unexpected places. Support worker are welcome to join to support participants. Auslan interpretation, hearing loop or support with eating or communication can be organised. a low sensory room will also be available in the venue. Please let us know in the registration for access or dietary requirements.
