Join Access2Arts for an Audio Described Tour of the Chihuly in the Botanic Garden exhibition, designed especially for blind and low-vision visitors.
Curated by Access2Arts (A2A) and the Botanic Garden, the route will highlight a selection of stunning large-scale glass artworks across the Garden, with thoughtful description and interpretation of the artwork and botanical surroundings by qualified audio describer guides from Access2Arts.
The length of the tour will be 2 hours, approximately 1.5km, crossing various terrain including bitumen, gravel, sawdust and grass. A short rest stop is included in this time. Places are limited, register now.

The Chihuly in the Botanic Garden exhibition is located throughout Adelaide Botanic Garden. Some of the artwork will be located on grass, sloped or uneven surfaces, with the majority viewed easily from the pathway. Adelaide Botanic Garden is accessible from all entrance gates except for the Hackney Gate off Hackney Road. It has paved and bitumen paths running throughout making it accessible for wheelchair users and there are also grass surfaces and natural walking tracks throughout the Gardens.
