Event description

Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc. Proudly Presents our first exhibition of the year Change.

Change, as a powerful force within our lives, can catalyse movement or stagnation, enrich us with energy or take our last breath. Change is the law of life we all must abide to. For people living with a disability, change can be more impactful than many most think. More than an everyday inconvenience, it can drastically transform our way of living and experiencing the world around us.

We have assembled a collection of various works made up of a variety of mediums including photography, acrylic and oil paintings. Our local artists have provided us with a unique lineup of diverse works ranging from abstract portraiture focusing on themes of identity & perspective, to painting and photography exploring nature and its ever-changing presence in our lives.

We are excited to showcase some new emerging artists, along with new works from our local community. All artworks will be for sale, along with new merchandise in the gallery, so you can support your favourite artist and our small business.

The Gallery will be open to everyone during our opening night on Thursday 11th April 2024. You’ll also hear from some of our artists as they speak on their inspiration and journeys with their art.

Launch event: Gallery will be open to everyone, serving wine and non-alcoholic drinks. Small canvas in the Gallery for visitors to paint/draw on.
