Event description

Join us for an audio-described tactile tour of Kaspar Schmidt Mumm’s exhibition, ROCKAMORA.

'Rockamora' is the name of the giant interactive puppet taking a bath in the exhibition space at ACE.

Learn about ROCKAMORA and be guided through the tactile elements of the puppet, including a mouth that can be felt exhaling a breath of air, skin made of various textured fabrics, and fingernails and teeth made from polystyrene.

Patrons are invited to feed and clean the puppet with a range of props, such as a toothbrush and drink bottle. Patrons are also invited inside the head of 'Rockamora' to use a button panel that activates a series of sound effects, such as burping and yelling.

The artist, Kaspar Schmidt Mumm, will be present to answer questions.
