UPDATE: Spots for this event have now closed.
It took only three short years for City Lights to become one of Adelaide’s most-loved events, drawing millions of people out of their wintertime hibernation and onto the streets of Adelaide.
City Lights can be enjoyed through two different tours, both with different access options; an audio described tour for those with low vision or who are blind, and a Deaf-led Auslan tour (with no English translation). These tours will run seperately, but start at the same time and from the same meeting place.
Bringing works by local and international artists from around the globe and showcasing them at Adelaide’s iconic institutions and secret hideaways, City Lights returns with a whole-new free program of interactive surprises, thought-provoking installations, and breathtaking projections from the world’s leading creative studios.
Please note that this is a FREE event, but registrations are required.
There will be some installations that can be touched along the tour.
Accessible bathrooms will be available along the tour route.
The route is wheelchair and mobility-aid accessible, with step-free flat surfaces throughout.
Please note that the Deaf-led Auslan Tour has no English interpretation.
The tour will end at the Festival Plaza, close to the Adelaide Railway Station.
