Event description

Inspired by the Sonic Meditations of Pauline Oliveros, and Aurora’s work with sound designer Keira Simmons for ‘HEXADECA’, Aurora will experiment with the ‘fully embodied pursuit’ of ‘attending to sounds and to the world’ through music and somatic techniques. A diverse ensemble, Aurora performs a range of repertoire from folk to classical to contemporary, under the direction of conductor Christie Anderson.
