Comic Soprano Janet Hattam is a freelance performer who performs as a guest soloist in and around Adelaide. Her laconic style and cheeky irreverent humour have made her performances unmissable.
Janet was a recipient of a Richard Llewellyn Arts and Disability Trust fund grant from Arts SA, in 2007 and 2010, enabling Janet to produce a CD – a live recording of her 2006 Adelaide fringe show ‘Love & Other Madness’, and the opportunity to perform in Christchurch, New Zealand, as a part of Eliza Tones Flute Ensemble’s tour of New Zealand.
In 2015, Janet made her debut as a stand-up comedian, and performed in the 2016 Adelaide fringe Festival, as a part of ‘#Jackpot Comedy’.
Janet is currently a student of Thomas Edmonds one of Australia’s best known lyric tenors
