Melbourne Fringe Festival is Victoria’s longest-running multi-arts festival, platforming the vital voices of our brightest artistic talent for more than 40 years. Every year it features more than 400 independent shows across theatre, comedy, music,
cabaret, and more. We support independent artists and arts workers with the tools, resources, and opportunities to create, present, and develop their work at the Melbourne Fringe Festival and beyond.
What is Open Access?
Open access means any independent artist can register their show for Melbourne Fringe Festival. There’s no selection committee or audition process. If you’re an artist (or an aspiring one) with an event, you’re welcome at Fringe.
