I’m looking for an Australian illustrator with a disability to illustrate my children’s book. It focuses on teaching children and families sign for common first words. My vision is that the illustrations would demonstrate the sign and the images would have inclusive representation. That is, they would demonstrate multiple different types of disability, eg a child wearing afos, one with hearing aides, etc.
I will provide images of the signs so the illustrator has something to work off.
There are approximately 30 pages to illustrate including the front and back cover.
Price is negotiable but am aiming for around $500.
