FELTspace is inviting early and mid-career artists to apply for our 2027 program. We’re looking for proposals that champion experimental practices, concepts and/or materials.
Selected artists receive a $1,000 artist fee, a four-week exhibition, marketing and communications support, professional photography, an opening event and an artist talk.
Applications are open and close on 1 December 2026. All applicants will be notified by 15 December 2026.
To apply, choose one format:
• Complete the application template and email it as a PDF, with your artist CV and support materials.
• Send a link to a video or audio response, with your artist CV and support materials by email.
Email your application to info@feltspace.org. If these formats don’t work for you, contact Access and Inclusion Officer Shani Engelbrecht at access@feltspace.org.
Interstate and international artists may apply, but travel and freight costs aren’t covered. FELTspace strongly encourages applications from First Peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse, LGBTQIA+, d/Deaf and neurodivergent people, and people living with disability or chronic illness.
