Following a sold-out season at Melbourne Fringe, emerging choreographer Aimee Raitman brings together an unlikely collaboration of bodies and minds in a premiere contemporary dance work.
Two dancers, two decades apart in age, navigate improvised, interpersonal and interactive systems and structures, examining these as both supportive and restrictive forces. This work is for anyone like Aimee's Nana, who "doesn't really get contemporary dance," and for Aimee's ex-boyfriend, who said she "probably takes too many risks." There may be a trampoline involved.
"clever and relevant ideas, prodding us to question our individual and collective practices; all and everything that surrounds us." Farrago Magazine.
