Changes in the creative and cultural sector, and the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, have changed the experiences for Deaf and disabled people, and arts and disability organisations.
Public consultations are being held to learn about what people and organisations need to support arts access and participation.
Deaf and disabled people, their supporters and organisations can share their views up until December 3 2018 via an online survey or written, verbal or recorded submissions.
You can have your say by calling 1800 185 693 or visiting https://www.arts.gov.au/have-your-say/national-arts-and-disability-strategy
This is your chance to share your ideas on what creates barriers, and supports Deaf and disabled peoples’ participation in the arts. It is also your chance to share examples of best practice and what you think should happen in the future.
