Practicing visual artist and Life Drawing Teacher Kirsty Martinsen will be running two FREE Come’n Try Drawing workshops at The Mill Art Studio, 154 Angas Street, Adelaide on Wednesday 14 and 21 June 2017 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM each week.

Offered by The MS Society of SA & NT, with funding from Grants SA, these free workshops will offer participants demonstrations of drawing practice in action, as well as providing the materials and time for your own creative drawing. No experience is needed – this is your chance to discover ‘the artist within’.

Kirsty she is a painter with a BA in Visual Art from Uni SA and a Diploma of Painting and Drawing from the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture, where she studied on a scholarship from Arts SA (2000-2003). Kirsty’s work revolves around the human form.

Over two weeks participants will work with materials from ‘Pencil to Charcoal’ (Week 1) and ‘Ink to Pastel’ (Week 2). Opportunities like this don’t come along every day.
