Carclew grants provide support for early-career artists, and organisations that provide arts activity for, by and with young people. Carclew grants support creative outcomes through Projects, and professional development through Fellowships for individuals and Capacity Building initiatives for organisations.

Applications close 11.59pm, 1 September 2020.

Project Grants

Support creative outcomes eg. creation of original new work, activities that enable children and/or young people to participate in art making.

  • Individuals can apply for up to $10,000.
  • Organisations can apply for up to $20,000.

Carclew’s Fellowships

Support individuals participating in workshops and masterclasses, securing mentorships, exploring new art forms and emerging methods.

  • Individuals can apply for up to $10,000.

Capacity Building Grants

Support organisations working in any art form developed and presented for, by and with children and young people aged 26 years and under. Capacity Building Grants support Youth Arts organisations to grow their business or change their business model to encourage organisational sustainability. It is expected the grant will assist in increasing the capacity of organisational staff by skills development, acquiring new information through expert advice, changed operations, or revised organisational purpose or models.

  • Organisations can apply for up to $10,000
