We’re turning a page (pun intended!) on the past 25yrs, and as we enter the next 25yrs of Feast History, we’re bringing back some classics!
Re-introducing Feast’s Front Cover Commission for 2023
APPLICATIONS DUE FRIDAY 2ND JUNE 5PM
Shoutout to graphic designers, illustrators, visual artists, photographers, designers, and creatives! We’re inviting you to submit your concept of a front cover design for the Feast Festival Program Guide in 2023. The selected applicant will receive $1,000 to create the artwork. Send us sketches or an outline of your concept along with a sample of your past creative work. Please supply a brief written synopsis that explains your concept and symbolism.
Feast is entering a new phase under new leadership and we want to visually capture this turning point in history. Think of the following words as inspirational themes:
Nostalgia
Phoenix Rising
Turning a page
Next chapter
Revival
Renewal
Your creation will become the cover art, plus be used across social media and in other printed formats including merchandise. The winning applicant will be invited to the VIP Program Launch where the cover design will be released. NEXT STEPS: The successful applicant will work with Feast to refine their concept and idea, with a ‘draft’ to be supplied to Feast by 14th June. The Final artwork will need to be supplied to Feast by 30th June in high res digital format using either .ai .pdf or .psd.
COMMISSION FEE: $1,000
TERMS: Payment will be made to the successful applicant within 7 days of receipt of invoice after the creation of the work. This fee includes the artist fee, materials and production. Ownership of the artwork will be transferred to Feast Festival, with credit listed to the successful applicant. Selection of artist and future use of the artwork will be at the discretion of Feast Festival.
