2019 Richard Llewellyn Deaf and Disability Arts funding program

About the opportunity

Arts South Australia’s Richard Llewellyn Deaf and Disability Arts (RLDDA) program is now accepting applications from individual artists, groups and arts organisations until 5:00 PM, 6 May 2019.

The RLDDA program supports projects and initiatives by South Australian practising professional Deaf and disabled artists. Funding is available for individual artists, organisations and groups where Deaf and disabled artists are the project initiators and primary recipients of the funded activity. The four grant categories are:

  • Emerging artist grants (Up to $3,000) – Support skills development of practising professional artists who are in the first five years of their practice
  • Individual artist grants (Up to $10,000) – Funding for practising professional Deaf and disabled artists toward the development and/or presentation of arts projects
  • Organisation or group grants (Up to $25,000) – Available for projects where professional practising Deaf and disabled artists are the initiators and primary beneficiaries of the arts project
  • Access grants (Up to $10,000) –  Support increased access to arts and cultural activity for Deaf and disabled South Australians.
